Right now looking at this team I think they're headed in the right direction. Chad Pennington atleast gives the team some experience. He is IMO one of the most physically limited Qb's in the league. Though he can get the job done untill Chad Henne is ready. For a group that seemed pompous last year with the pick of Ginn and Beck atleast one of them is on the outs. Ginn seems to show some promise. Does he have the ability to be a true #1? I don't know.
Playing Favre will get alot of attention. Pennington vs Favre will be built up. Though if the Dolphins can establish the run and we see the Favre of 05 & 06 with a TD/INT ration of 38/47 they've got a chance.
Guys who need to step up this season:
-Jason Allen - make or break season
-Channing Crowder - shows signs but can he become an elite player
-Matt Roth - not looking to replace JT, just don't be a liability
-Ronnie Brown - i'm looking forward to seeing him the final 10 games when he'll be fully healed.
