The John Beck situation

John Beck was drafted by the last regime to be the Qb of the future. Though with Chad Henne taken to by the Qb of the future it appears his time with the Dolphins is limited. Watching the 2007 draft I felt like the Dolphins passing on Brady Quinn was ridiculous.

With a new regime Dolphins fans can eliminate the picks made in the past. When I heard Parcells was hired the first thing I told a friend was "Henne is a Parcells Qb." With Pennington the Dolphins can wait and be competitive and give Parcells some time to give Henne the people around him to be successful.

Many Dolphins fans are loyal to Ricky Williams because he is a great talent. Though the two guys who'll determine whether the Dolphins can become compete for the playoffs in a year or two are Ginn and Ronnie Brown. If Brown can become the back he was before his injury last year I think Parcells has his stud offensive player. If Ginn can become a Santana Moss like deep threat than it allows other underneath targets to develop. Specifically Fasano and Hagan. The Dolphins are still a bit away but if Trent Edwards doesn't produce like the Bills want him too and Favre doesn't adjust than in 2009 they maybe one of the teams that are a "sleeper."
